Annual meeting participants consistently express enthusiasm for innovative meeting presentations, and the desire to see more media and diamond sessions in
particular. At the 2016 meeting in Miami, the newly-introduced short paper format (10-minute papers with more time for discussion) received only positive feedback.
However, the variety of presentation formats is determined by the proposals
that are submitted. In other words, it's up to you to be the change you'd like to see.
AFS Annual Meeting proposal forms are designed to collect data for standard presentation types. Please contact Lorraine Walsh Cashman at firstname.lastname@example.org
in advance of the March 31 deadline if you would like to propose something else. For best results, pre-organized sessions
must fit within a two-hour time block, and require minimal room set-up changes.
