The Department of Anthropology at the University of Oregon in Eugene invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Folklore and Public Culture, to begin fall 2018. They seek candidates with demonstrable training in folklore studies and experience in teaching folklore theory and ethnographic methods, at the intersection of public engagement and the study of expressive cultural forms.
